How to Meditate with an Audio Devotion
1. Choose a time when you are alert. For many, the morning is a time when they are feeling most refreshed and their thinking is clear.
Give yourself at least 30 minutes of uninterrupted time.
2. Choose a place that will be quiet and free from distractions. We recommend listening with headphones, and closing your eyes
if this helps you focus.
3. Choose a posture that will help you focus on listening. Being uncomfortable physically can be a distraction.
4. Keep a pen, paper and a Bible handy. You may need to write something down before or after your time of meditation.
5. As you begin, pray and ask God to speak to you through His Word and in your time of silence.
6. Listen to one Audio Devotion. Plan on giving yourself time at the end to continue thinking about what you’ve heard.
7. After your time of meditation, write down answers to the questions asked in the audio devotion, or any other insight that you have.
8. Thank God for speaking to you!
